Photography - Flower in my house backyard

I have always been an avid photographer. Here is a snap I took of the flower that blossomed in the backyard of my house.
I had used a DSLR camera that gave it much needed resolution and clarity.
Hope you all love this picture.

Goddess Durga - Sketch

Here is a sketch of Goddess Durga that I had made.
Goddess Durga is the one who cannot be accessed easily, the undefeatable goddess.
She is the warrior goddess, whose mythology centres around fighting evils and demonic forces that threaten peace, prosperity and dharma of the good. She is the fierce form of the protective mother goddess, who unleashes her anger against the wrong, destruction to empower creation.
She has a significant following all over India, Bangladesh and Nepal. In India, she has particularly more followers in its eastern states such as West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Assam and Bihar. Goddess Durga is revered after spring and autumn harvests, specially during the festival of Navaratri (that is probably around October / November timeframe.

Medium: Sketch pen
I used Sketch pens to get fine outlines to potray the Goddess symbolically, the way it is normally represented in the Eastern part of India.

Lord Ganesha Symbol

In Om resides all!
Here, I have tried to represent Lord Ganesha, the lord of all good beginnings in the symbol of Om.
For Lord Ganesha is the one with which we start all auspicious work.
He is the symbol of all good and auspicious beginnings.

Medium: Sketch Pen
I used two different shades of sketch pen. Red and Vermilion to get the shading effect.

Hope you all like the painting.
